Safety and Health Committees

Each mine site has established safety and health committees. Although they vary in composition in different regions, these committees are most often comprised of both hourly employees and management personnel, and are led by our safety and health professionals. These committees oversee the company’s safety and health programs. Because the structures of our safety and health committees vary from site to site, we do not track the number of employees sitting on these committees at a corporate level.
